Systems & Cloud
AWS infrastructure, platform reliability, and Pega platforms.
I build reliable cloud systems, automate the repetitive stuff, and make things for the web.
I'm Jeremy Lichtman, a systems administrator and developer based in New Jersey. My professional work focuses on AWS infrastructure, reliability, and Pega platforms.
Beyond systems work, I build web applications, develop practical automation, and keep a personal lab for ideas that are useful, playful, or both.
In 2014 I began working for Verizon Wireless as a system administrator, managing AWS infrastructure for multiple Pega-based applications.
AWS infrastructure, platform reliability, and Pega platforms.
Web applications and automation that remove repetitive work.
Games and simulations exploring nature, ancient machines, and playful ideas.
Explore 50 browser games and simulations inspired by Pliny's Natural History. Sail Roman galleys, build ancient machines, and experiment with living ecosystems.
Four ideas ready to become focused subpages in later phases.
Browser arcade game. A browser-based Snake game with character-driven stages, power-ups, and a neon visual system.
Build notes. Short, useful write-ups about infrastructure experiments, upgrades, and lessons learned.
Web utilities. A collection of focused browser utilities for the small tasks that should take one click.
Current interests. A lightweight snapshot of what I am learning, building, playing, and improving right now.
Main page. The main page: follow the pug through one day at my place, from the porch at 7:30 am to the roof at midnight. Each room is one part of my work and life.
2019. My hand-coded legacy personal website. It preserves the original one-page HTML, CSS, jQuery effects, skills section, and contact form from an earlier era of the site.
Edition 01. The previous homepage: systems work, development, and the personal lab.
Edition 02. A darker, neon-influenced alternate homepage with a featured Pliny Game Lab preview and a queue of future experiments.
Experiment. An experimental cinematic edition: ice-on-void observatory with a living system map, kinetic type, and a mission-board lab queue. Experiment only. Not the site homepage.
Edition 03. A dark obsidian portfolio featuring a blueprint coordinate grid, bento architecture, categorized vector skills, and production cloud infrastructure deployments.
Edition 04. The 2026 system map grown into nine worlds. One set of lines redraws itself as a server rack, the Pliny Game Lab floor plan, a snake, the homelab, and more.
Guide. A directory of the site's editions and the URIs that connect them.
A dedicated contact page with a working backend is next in the build queue.
